Sensors

Aptinov wireless sensors were developed to monitor and record temperature and relative humidity in environments where control of these parameters is critical, adapting to the specific requirements of each application. The sensors are robust and compact. In addition, unlike Wi-Fi sensors, their batteries do not need to be recharged or replaced frequently.

Sensor characteristics:

  • Designed to operate in adverse conditions.

The sensors were designed taking into account the requirements of laboratory and pharmaceutical applications.

The sensors have two operating modes: Online and Datalogger.

In Online mode, the sensor sends each reading immediately after the measurement.

In Datalogger mode, the sensor stores readings in its own memory and, when requested, sends them to the central computer. For example, a sensor can be installed in a refrigerated vehicle and record readings throughout the week. When the vehicle comes within range of the central computer, a wireless connection is established and all stored readings are downloaded automatically.

The system is designed so that the user does not need to manage the monitoring process. Recording is automated and, if a problem occurs — for example, measurements outside the defined limits — an email or SMS can be sent. The system can also be controlled remotely through a computer on the LAN or over the Internet.

Data is stored in a database. It can be viewed using the supplied application and exported in PDF and CSV formats.
